Americans Have a Fat Deficiency
It sounds crazy, right? But it's true — the average American diet is lacking certain types of healthy fats. Not the type of fat we get from fast food — I'm talking about Omega 3 and Omega 6 Essential Fatty Acids. Our bodies need them to maintain healthy cell membranes, and they can't produce them on their own.
We normally get them by eating fish, or certain fruits and vegetables. But few Americans get anywhere near what they need - and it may be a dangerous deficiency.
Omega 3 was initially identified in 1970 by scientists studying the Inuit in Greenland. Their research pointed to large amounts of Omega 3 in a diet consisting almost entirely of high-fat fish as a possible reason why less than 5% of the population suffered from heart disease. Compare that to America today, where most diets lack Omega 3, and heart disease is the leading cause of death.
Since that initial study, over 14,000 research papers have been published on the many health benefits of Omega 3 and 6. Among their many benefits, they have been shown to help support the Heart, Skin, Brain and Immune Function.*
| Immuno-Viva Core and Immuno-Viva Ease are both great sources of Omega 3 and 6. And because they are combined with powerful lipid soluble antioxidants, they provide even better cellular support. Visit the "Shop" section of the website and see for yourself! |
What about fish oil?
Many people take fish oil supplements to get their Omega 3, and it is a very good natural source. However, you need to be careful of where you get it, because many fish have unsafe levels of mercury in them, which can be transferred to you through the oil. In addition, fish oil has a short shelf life, and goes rancid quickly. Once rancid, the oil could do much more harm than good.
Immuno-Viva's potent antioxidants protect the omega 3 oils and keep them stable for over 18 months, guaranteed. And once in your body, the antioxidants and essential fatty acids work together to provide powerful cellular protection.
