Welcome to the first edition of our Immuno-Viva Newsletter!

My name is Greg Palen, and I have had the pleasure of being involved with Botanic Oil Innovations, the company behind Immuno-Viva, for the last year and a half. I have been truly amazed by the people involved with Immuno-Viva. Surrounding everyone who works with this company is an excitement and determination to do good for others that is hard to find anywhere, especially in the business world. It has been a treat for me to be able to spend time with such passionate people. In this first installment of our new Immuno-Viva Newsletter, we hope to pass on some of that passion to you.

Perhaps like you, my reasons for becoming involved with this company have stemmed from something all too familiar in the world today. Each of us at BOI has been affected by cancer or serious health concerns in our immediate family. My mom died of cancer in 1998. We all care about and are passionate about helping people live longer, healthier lives.

I'm proud to be connected to a terrific group of people who strive to make a difference in the World. Dr. Arny Leonard is one of those people. His contributions to the field of cancer research and the use of antioxidant oils to boost the immune system have helped numerous individuals lead a healthier, happier life.

I have been a doctor at the University of Minnesota for 45 Years and involved in cancer research for 20 Years. I've spent most of my life as a traditional doctor and surgeon, treating patients after the fact. I now know that I've been on the wrong side of the woodpile. I believe prevention is better and I wish I had started focusing on prevention sooner.

We started using Immuno-Viva, the natural fruit and herb seed oil, in our cancer research in the laboratory at the University of Minnesota five years ago. The oils are super potent antioxidants that are high in Omega 3's and 6's extracted gently with a cold-press process from natural fruits and vegetables. (Natural supplements are much better than synthetic supplements.) We found that they elevate CD8 and NK killer cells (which support healthy immune systems) by 300%-400% and that they are synergistic in our cancer reducing genetic engineering experiments using human Interleukin-2 genes.

We've learned some other impressive things as well:

• These oils provide cardiovascular support. Research has shown that consumption of omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risks of coronary heart disease.
• They provide inflammation support. Dr. Lucy Yu at the University of Maryland concluded in lab tests that the ingredients in Immuno-Viva are 281 times more effective cox-2 inhibitors than aspirin without any side effects.
• Immuno-Viva is an all natural supplement with a wide array of synergistic antioxidants, including all 8 forms of Vitamin E.

In future newsletters I will spend quite a bit of time talking about these benefits and their affects on your body. But I'm sure those of you who have done some research can already see the important link between each of these benefits and prevention. In this first newsletter, I just want to make one point:

The reason I am most excited about Immuno-Viva is that it is one of the best ways to take more responsibility for your own health.

By learning more about oxidative stress and free radicals, you'll understand how antioxidants work, and how they help your body. While looking through our site, you may have noticed a lack of personal testimonials. Many similar websites are full of miraculous stories about their products. They usually look like they have been written or altered by company representatives to paint their product in the best light possible. We wanted none of that. Sure, we do have dozens and dozens of stories from people who have had wonderful, even life changing experiences with our products, but our feeling is that the most credible and powerful testimonials are the ones that come directly from the person who had the experience. That is why we will be launching the Immuno-Viva Community Boards this month.

The Immuno-Viva Community Boards will provide an area where anyone can go to ask questions, learn from others and share a story. They'll be up and running soon, and we'll be sure to let you know when they are so you can join in the discussions!

You'll also notice an "Ask the Doctors" link near the top of this page. It is a place where you can ask the doctors anything you want about how the products affect your body or how they may help you personally.

Customers familiar with the old Botanic Oil site will notice that many of the product names have changed with the re-launch of Immuno-Viva. In fact, Immuno-Viva itself used to be just a single product offered by Botanic Oil Innovations. We have decided to elevate Immuno-Viva to be the overarching brand name for our entire line of supplements.
